Gady Pitaru has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Gady started their career as a GIS Technician at the City of Phoenix in 2006 and quickly advanced to become a Senior GIS Technician, where they automated the QA/QC process using VBA. Gady then transitioned into the role of IT Analyst/Programmer, where they built and supported web and desktop GIS apps for the Street Transportation Department, including automating the map tiling process and migrating an ArcIMS app to ArcGIS Server.

In 2009, Gady joined the Aviation Department at the City of Phoenix as an IT Analyst/Programmer II, where they built web and mobile apps. Some of their notable projects include developing Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport's mobile website and an Android-based work order management system.

Gady also worked at Arizona State University as a Faculty Associate, teaching GIS programming courses for the Masters in GIS program. Gady also implemented ArcGIS Server with PostgresSQL on AWS for student projects.

Most recently, Gady has been working as the Chief Technology Officer and VP of Engineering at Badger Maps, Inc. Gady has been responsible for architecting and developing the software product, leading an agile engineering team, implementing continuous integration and deployment, and performing day-to-day coding. Technologies used include Python, Django with GeoDjango, PostgreSQL with PostGIS, and Node.

Gady Pitaru completed their education at Arizona State University. In 2006, they pursued a Masters of Advanced Study in Geographic Information Systems, which they successfully completed in 2007. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2006, Gady earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the same university. Additionally, they hold a certification in "The ABTs of Selling" from Badger Sales University, with the specific month and year of completion not provided.
