Senior Mechanical Engineer at Badger Meter

William Clarke Steppe has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. William Clarke recently joined Badger Meter as a Mechanical Engineer II in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Rotork from March 2020 to March 2022, where they were responsible for drawing and model control, supporting manufacturing team, and revamping product assembly instructions. From June 2016 to January 2020, they worked at Modine Manufacturing Company as an Application Engineer, focusing on heat exchangers and providing support to manufacturing plant and customers. Additionally, they gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Alliance Laundry Systems in 2013, where they repaired washing machines and designed a door fixture for testing purposes. Before pursuing their engineering career, they also worked as a Student Employee at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Restaurant Operations, gaining experience in various roles such as cashier, dish room, and grill service.

William Clarke Steppe began their education at Clover High School, where they completed their freshman through junior years of high school from 2007 to 2010. William Clarke then transferred to Sturgeon Bay High School and earned their high school diploma in 2011. Continuing their studies, they enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2011 to 2016. To further their expertise in the field, William pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2017 to 2021.
