Matiss Neimanis

Matiss Neimanis is an experienced professional in the field of investment and entrepreneurship, currently serving as a Member and Angel Investor at BADideas.fund since December 2023 and as a Board Member of the Latvian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association since June 2023. As Managing Partner at Buildit VC since October 2017, Matiss focuses on early-stage startups in Industry 4.0, including robotics and AI. Matiss has held the position of CEO at Sarcio since December 2009, and also serves as a Business Mentor at Riga Business School. Previous roles include Board Member positions at Digital Accelerator of Latvia and Connect Latvia, and Executive Director at the Green Industry Innovation Center. Matiss has a strong academic background with a PhD in Sociology from Latvijas Universitate and multiple degrees in Business and Project Management from various institutions.
