Sophie Kitson

Sophie Kitson is an experienced tennis professional currently serving as the Tennis Programme Coordinator at British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) since September 2023, managing numerous tennis leagues and championships across the UK. In addition to this role, Sophie has been an LTA Official since June 2015, taking on various responsibilities including Line Umpire, Chair Umpire, and Match Assistant at prestigious tournaments such as Wimbledon and the Davis Cup. Sophie served as President of the University of Kent Tennis Society from 2021 to 2023 and has a strong background in coaching and sports development, having worked with Kent Union and Kent Sport. A graduate of the University of Kent with First Class Honours in BSc Forensic Science, Sophie also has valuable experience in youth mentoring and coaching in other sports, demonstrating a diverse skill set and a commitment to sports education and administration.
