Jonathan Salais

Jonathan Salais is a Senior Energy Engineer at BAE Systems, Inc., where they support the Combat Mission Systems division in achieving the company's Net Zero goals. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Jonathan holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. Previously, they worked as an Energy Engineer at Franklin Energy Services, where they managed energy efficiency programs and conducted extensive project analyses, contributing to significant cost savings. Jonathan's early career includes research experience in quadrotor UAVs at the University of Michigan's Advanced Robotics and Controls Lab and a foundational role as a Food Service Worker at Bursley Blue Apple. With a strong passion for aerospace, Jonathan aspires to go to space in their lifetime.
