Kateu Herbert

Kateu Herbert is a Technical Author currently employed at Rock the JVM since April 2023, focusing on writing technical articles related to the Scala ecosystem, and simultaneously contributing to Baeldung.com with quality articles aimed at enhancing programming skills for upcoming developers. As a Backend Developer and Software Consultant since January 2021, Kateu has developed backend systems using the Play framework and Scala, implementing the Model View Controller architecture for ReactJS frontend clients. Previously, as a Business Intelligence Analyst at National Water & Sewerage Corporation from January 2017 to September 2022, significant contributions included reducing water loss and training branch supervisors on data analysis techniques. Kateu also has experience as a Data Analyst and Customer Service Representative at Africell Uganda and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation Research from Uganda Management Institute and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Statistics from Kyambogo University.
