Annie Chen

Annie Chen has extensive experience in leadership and management roles, currently serving as Geodatasjef at Bærum kommune since October 2017, focusing on personnel management, organizational development, service development, and digital innovation. Prior to this, Annie held a position as Funksjonsleader at Oslo kommune’s Vann- og avløpsetaten from February 2007 to September 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing GIS development and managing supplier agreements. Earlier roles include consulting at Shincon AS, ownership and teaching at the Chinese Language School in Stavanger, and various positions within governmental and research organizations, emphasizing statistical analysis, economic research, and project management. Annie Chen holds a Master's degree in Social Change from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and additional degrees in Economics and Political Economics from Minzu University of China and Peking University, respectively.
