Heshani Makalande

Heshani Makalande, CHRP, is an experienced HR professional with a robust background in various HR functions. Currently serving as an HR Business Partner at Baffinland since February 2016, Heshani has held multiple roles including HR Generalist, HR Analyst, and HR Administrator. Prior experience includes a contract position as a Human Resources Assistant in Labour Relations at Halton Healthcare, where Heshani supported HR projects, organized meetings, conducted employee investigations, and maintained tracking systems for grievances and investigations. Heshani holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resources Management from Ryerson University, earned between 2011 and 2015.
