Baffinland
Hector Salermo, P.Eng., RCDD, is an experienced information technology professional with a career spanning several roles in various organizations. Currently serving as the Information Technology Systems Superintendent at Baffinland since May 2017, Hector previously worked at Hatch from April 2012 to May 2017, where responsibilities included serving as IT and Communications Engineer for major projects with Ontario Power Generation and as an IT and Communications Specialist for Cliffs Natural Resources. Prior to Hatch, Hector held the position of Network Specialist at OnX Enterprise Solutions and Manager of Corporate Information Technology Shared Services at Sherritt International Cuba. Hector's early career included a role as Network Architect at Moa Nickel S.A. and as Automation Specialist at Union del Niquel. Hector earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from ISPJAE, attended from 1984 to 1989.
