Wayne MacGillivary

Wayne MacGillivary is an experienced multi-equipment operator currently working at Baffinland since March 2017, where responsibilities include hauling large float moving equipment from Mary River to the mine site. Previously, Wayne served as a Heavy Haul Truck Driver at Tretan Inc, and as a Business Manager at Lepine's Sales & Service, overseeing financing and online presence. Additionally, Wayne volunteered as a Fire Fighter and First Responder with L'Isle-Aux-Allumettes Fire Department. Early career roles included Transport Driver with THE GTI GROUP and Truck Driver positions with Nuna Group of Companies and Triple K Transport. Wayne holds degrees in Law & Security Administration from Loyalist College and Motor Vehicle Repair from Nova Scotia Community College.
