David Lortal

David Lortal is an experienced consultant product manager with a focus on enhancing client collaboration and stakeholder engagement in the media technology sector. Currently, at BAFTA Media Technology Limited since January 2019, David leads initiatives including BAFTA Events and the BAFTA View VOD platform. Previously, David played a key role in the development of FOCAL International's new website, improving operational efficiencies. With a solid background at BAFTA from 2011 to 2018, David made significant contributions to the Nucleus and awards entry systems, expanding the user base and product delivery. David’s early career at the BBC involved various technical roles, enhancing broadcast operations and media preservation. David holds a BA (Hons) in History from Goldsmiths, University of London.
