Muhammad Binyameen is currently a Fulbright Post-doctoral Fellow at Penn State University since March 2018 and serves as an Assistant Professor of Entomology at Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan, Pakistan, since August 2013. Binyameen completed a Ph.D. in Insect Chemical Ecology from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) between 2009 and 2013, after obtaining a Master of Science in Plant Protection Biology from the same institution in 2012. Prior to this, Binyameen earned a BSc and MSc in Agriculture with a focus on Agronomy at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, studying from 1998 to 2011. Research interests include insect-insect and insect-plant interactions, particularly olfactory mechanisms related to host selection by phytophagous insects. Binyameen also worked as a Research Associate during the Ph.D. program at SLU, contributing to various research projects in the field.
