BAHIA is a restaurant listed on the Michelin guide and named after a prestigious navel orange that has been the pride of the people from Attard, Balzan and Lija, also called "The Three Villages". 

In 2022, after 5 years in Lija, BAHIA moved to another prestigious property in Balzan, built in the early 1900’s. The building represents the foundation of Malta’s most important group of hotels, Corinthia. 

The restaurant design is inspired by the four stages of growth of an orange tree, mainly Seed, Growth, Blossom and Harvest, and each stage was the inspiration for a different section of the restaurant. 

With a keen interest to entertain guests in a comfortable and contemporary space, both indoors and outdoors, the skilled team brings to the table innovation and respect towards an array of high-quality ingredients. 

The restaurant respects Malta’s culinary heritage, whilst proposing a contemporary and creative cuisine. Guests are invited to choose from the PAST, PRESENT or FUTURE, giving them the opportunity to choose one of these degustation menus. The restaurant also caters for those people who prefer a Vegan diet and is sensitive to those people with dietary requirements.

Accompanying this exquisite contemporary food is a selection of prestigious wines and other beverages to best suit the guests’ meals.
