Anand Panicker

Anand Panicker has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Anand began their career as an Audit Executive at Varma & Varma, Chartered Accountants, where they gained experience in statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit. Anand then moved on to BankMuscat (Bangalore branch) as a Finance Executive, before joining ICICI Bank as an Assistant Manager in Operations. At ICICI Bank, they served as a Unit Manager for TDS/Expenditure Management and a Team Leader for Account Opening processes.

Anand later joined Indecomm Global Services as an Assistant Manager in Operations, where they were responsible for managing finance projects and overseeing project transitions. Anand then transitioned to BankMuscat as a Manager in Regulatory Reporting, Taxation, and International Operations.

In 2007, Anand joined BMI Bank, where they held various roles, including Acting Head of Finance and Assistant Financial Controller. Anand successfully implemented Finance Projects for Accounting/MIS overhaul and served as the Financial Controller for an overseas branch.

Anand then served as Vice President of Finance at Al-Salam Bank in Bahrain, before assuming the role of Head of Business Planning at Bahrain Development Bank in 2019. Throughout their career, Anand has gained expertise in financial planning, financial accounting, regulatory reporting, taxation, and business performance analysis. Anand has also demonstrated skills in project management and team leadership.

Anand Panicker holds a degree in Chartered Accountancy (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Anand also has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from SD College, obtained between 1990 and 1994. In addition to their formal education, Anand Panicker has obtained various certifications in fields such as computer science, finance, and blockchain technology. These certifications include the edX Verified Certificate for CS50's Introduction to Computer Science, edX Verified Certificate for CS50's Understanding Technology, and certifications from institutions such as INSEAD, ConsenSys Academy, and Google.
