Melinda White

CEO, Transit Wireless at BAI Communications

Melinda White is the CEO of Transit Wireless at BAI Communications. Melinda has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to their current position, they were the Area President for the West Region at Frontier Communications. In this role, they led a $3 billion P&L and a 7,000-employee organization across California, Washington, and Oregon. Melinda was also the state leader of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) approval process for the $10.6 billion acquisition of Verizon wireline properties in California, Texas, and Florida.

Before their role at Frontier Communications, White was the Executive Vice President of Distribution and Content at Wink Communications. In this role, they oversaw sales strategy and execution for Distribution, Programming/Content, Technology, and Advertising in the U.S. Melinda also negotiated distribution, Consumer Electronics, hardware device, and licensing agreements to ensure end-to-end client server interactive solutions and value. Under their leadership, Wink Communications secured ~50 advertisers and ~30 broadcasters to deliver 60% YoY growth of Wink-enhanced programming in 6M+ U.S. households.

White has a proven track record of success in the telecommunications industry. Melinda is a strategic leader with a keen understanding of the ever-changing landscape of the industry. Her experience has made their an invaluable asset to BAI Communications.

Melinda White has a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Howard Payne University.

Melinda White works with Alison Perren - Group Chief People Officer, Stephen Matthews - Group Chief Financial Officer, and Brendan O'Reilly - Group Chief Technology Officer. Melinda White reports to Igor Leprince, Group Chief Executive Officer.
