Margi Varia

Margi Varia has extensive experience in network engineering and network administration. They most recently worked at BAI Connect as the Director of Network Engineering starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Baiconnect as the Manager of Network Engineering from an unknown start date until May 2022. Margi also has experience at Bel Air Internet, where they served as a Senior Network Engineer from an unknown start date until 2020. They were responsible for leading IT projects, conducting network assessments, and ensuring the security and reliability of internal networks. Before Bel Air Internet, Margi worked at AEG as a Network Administrator, supporting and optimizing AEG's domestic and international network infrastructure. They were also involved in managing large-scale events.

Margi Varia started their education journey in 2005 at the R. C. Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Telecommunication. Margi completed their degree in 2008. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, Margi pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at California State University, Los Angeles.

In terms of additional certifications, Margi has obtained multiple certifications in various fields. In 2015, they obtained the MTCNA (MikroTik Certified Network Associate), and in the same year, they also obtained the MTCRE (MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer) and MTCWE (MikroTik Certified Wireless Engineer) certifications. In 2016, they obtained the MTCINE (MikroTik Certified Inter-networking Engineer).

Margi further expanded their expertise with several Cisco certifications. In 2016, they earned the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) certification. In 2019, they obtained the Cisco Certified Networking Professional - Enterprise certification, along with the Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation and Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core certifications. Additionally, in 2019, they achieved the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) certification.

Margi has also gained expertise in network security with certifications like Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3: Certified Associate, achieved in November 2020. Moreover, they obtained Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos) certification from Juniper Networks in September 2020.

In recent years, they have continued expanding their knowledge and skills with certifications such as Leadership in Tech from LinkedIn in March 2022. Margi also completed the Financial Wellness: Managing Personal Cash Flow and Python Network Programmability: Scaling Scripts certifications from LinkedIn in December 2021. Lastly, they earned the Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification from CWNP in October 2020.
