Jeff Dunn

Jeff Dunn has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jeff currently works as the Director of Product Development & Operations at BAI since April 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Western Governors University, including Director of the Center for Professional Learning and Vice President of Portfolio Strategy from 2018 to 2022.

Before their time at Western Governors University, Jeff was the Chief Online Learning Officer at The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2017, where they led all online education operations and played a crucial role in launching their first fully online degree program.

From 2010 to 2017, Jeff served as the Senior Director of DV X at DeVry Education Group, leading the R&D function and driving transformative innovation efforts. Jeff also launched DV X Labs EdTech incubator during their tenure.

Jeff began their career at Apollo Group as a Product Manager in 2009, focusing on higher education enrollment solutions and international divisions in the United Kingdom and South America. Jeff also worked as a Product Strategy Consultant at Kaplan Higher Education in 2009.

From 1999 to 2009, Jeff held the position of Vice President of Technology Solutions at Kaplan Professional, where they defined strategic vision, developed product roadmap, and led software development teams.

Jeff started their career as a Revenue Analyst at Texas Legislative Budget Board from 1996 to 1999, where they forecasted revenue for the Texas Lottery and sin taxes. Prior to that, they were a Research Specialist at Texas Legislative Council from 1992 to 1996, conducting public policy research and statistical analysis.

Before entering the professional world, Jeff pursued their passion as a drummer and performed in various bands as a self-employed musician from 1983 to 1988.

Jeff Dunn has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics from Central Michigan University. Jeff also holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from Texas A&M University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Microservices Foundations" from LinkedIn in August 2023, "Learning Azure DevOps" from LinkedIn in July 2022, "Developing your Musicianship" and "Musicianship: Chord Charts, Diatonic Chords, and Minor Keys" from Berklee College of Music in June 2022, "Azure: Understanding the Big Picture" from LinkedIn in May 2022, "Software Architecture: Breaking a Monolith into Microservices" from LinkedIn in April 2022, and "ASU GSV Summit 2016" from ASU GSV Summit in April 2016.
