Sam Hurst Wallis has a diverse range of work experience in the field of graphic design. Sam started their career at Pippin Funeral Home, Inc. in 2007, where they served as a Graphic Designer, creating memorial materials and digitally restoring family photographs. In 2010, they joined Moore College of Art & Design, initially working as a Freelance Graphic Designer & Illustrator. Later, they served as a Writing Assistant and Graphic Design Tutor. At Grafik, where they interned in 2012, Sam worked closely with the design team, creating design collateral for various clients. In 2013, they interned with Lenox as a Concept Design Intern, developing designs for dinnerware and giftware products. The same year, they joined Bailey Brand Consulting, initially as a Graphic Designer and then as a Senior Designer. Currently, they serve as an Art Director at the company, overseeing team efforts in creating effective branding, communication, and design across various mediums.

Sam Hurst Wallis has a strong education background in the field of design. They earned an Associate Degree in Advertising Design from Delaware Technical and Community College, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. They then pursued further education at Moore College of Art and Design, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, graduating as the Valedictorian in 2013.
