Gene Rogers

Gene Rogers has extensive experience in educational leadership and coaching, currently serving as the Director at Alabama Childhood Food Solutions since May 2019. Concurrently, Gene has been involved with Bailey Education Group, LLC as an Instructional Coach focusing on leadership development and marketing, and serves as an Academic Specialist for the Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools, both since October 2015. Prior to these roles, Gene was the Principal at Shelby County Board of Education from June 2005 to September 2015. Gene holds an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of Montevallo (2006-2008) and an M.Ed. in Education from the University of Mississippi (1979-1981).
