John Currie

John Currie has extensive experience in senior financial and board roles across various industries. Currently, John serves as a Board Member, Lead Independent Director, Chair of the Audit Committee, and member of the Compensation Committee at Aritzia since September 2016, and as a Director at Bailey Nelson since May 2017. Additionally, John holds an advisory position on the Advisory Board at Earls Kitchen + Bar since March 2015, and was a Board Member at Vancouver Airport Authority from November 2012 to May 2022, where responsibilities included Chairing the Finance and Audit Committee and participating in the HR Committee. Previously, John garnered significant experience as Chief Financial Officer at lululemon from January 2007 to February 2015 and as Chief Financial Officer/SVP Financing & Taxation at Intrawest from December 1989 to November 2006. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from The University of British Columbia and a Chartered Professional Accountant designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
