Amrita Sankar

Amrita Sankar currently serves as ESG Director and Public Equity Lead at Bain Capital, a position held since January 2022, following an earlier role as ESG Manager, Public Equity Lead. Prior to Bain Capital, Amrita was an Investment Advisor at NorthStar Asset Management, Inc. from September 2020 to January 2022, where the focus was on integrating social concerns into investment strategies. Earlier experiences include a Summer Associate role at Goldman Sachs and a Spring 2019 MBA Investment Internship at RSF Social Finance. Amrita also worked as a Summer Associate at Elevar Equity and held a Senior Investment Associate position at ImpactAssets, which promotes socially responsible investment. Starting a career as an Associate Consultant at Sterling Associates Group, Amrita complemented professional expertise with an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dartmouth College.
