Jasmine Bala

Jasmine Bala is a Senior Manager at Bain & Company since June 2021, with prior experience as a Manager and Consultant. As the Founder & Director of Project Balika, an initiative aimed at reducing school dropout rates and enhancing leadership skills among adolescent girls in underserved communities, Jasmine has been active since August 2017. Jasmine's extensive background includes roles at Teach For India, where contributions as the Outreach and Recruitment Lead and Fellow garnered national recognition, and participation in the Global Girls Education Fellowship with Teach For All. Academic credentials include an MBA and an MS in Education Policy from The Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively, as well as a BA from Brown University. Jasmine has received multiple accolades, including the Makers India Emerging Woman Entrepreneur of the Year for Social Impact in 2021 and was recognized as a Changemaker of the Year by the Government of Maharashtra in 2018.
