Bainbridge Senior Living

Family owned for over twenty-six years. In 1991, Don Roose opened the doors of Madison House in downtown Winslow, offering the first assisted living community of its kind in Kitsap County. Don had a personal reason for entering the field of senior housing. Maggie, his mother-in-law, had moved south from Alaska into an island home of her own. She wanted to continue living on Bainbridge Island, but her big house was getting just a little too big. So he created Bainbridge Senior Living and built the Madison Avenue House. Then The Winslow Manor. Then The Wyatt House. And in 2013, The Madrona House. Now Don’s daughter Morgan serves as President and CEO of Bainbridge Senior Living, and the family business is still going strong. As the region’s premier provider of assisted living, Bainbridge Senior Living has earned an unmatched reputation on both a local and national basis.
