Avelyn Heltzel

Learning, Measurement, And Impact Analyst at Bainum Family Foundation

Avelyn Heltzel is an experienced professional currently serving as a Learning, Measurement, and Impact Analyst at both Bainum Family Foundation and Children's Equity Fund since April 2023. Prior to these roles, Avelyn worked at Community Science from July 2019 to April 2023 as an Analyst and Research Assistant. Avelyn also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Kentucky from August 2018 to July 2019. In earlier positions, Avelyn held several roles at Lexington Ballet Company, including Community Outreach Coordinator, Stage Manager, and Administrative Intern from August 2016 to July 2019. An internship at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in 2018 focused on Turnaround Arts, and a background in management at a Starbucks retail location was built while studying at the University of Kentucky from August 2015 to May 2018. Avelyn started as a Ballet Instructor for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government from August 2013 to May 2015. Avelyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Kentucky, completed in 2019.
