Sukumar G. has a diverse work experience in the sales and management field. Sukumar started their career as a Sales Executive at AR AS Appliances P Ltd in 1995 and worked there until 2000. Sukumar then joined SYMPHONY COMFORT SYSTEMS LIMITED as a Sales Executive until 2002. Sukumar joined Bajaj Electricals Ltd in 2002 and worked as a Senior Manager - Sales until 2011. Sukumar then worked at Lloyd Electric & Engineering Ltd as a Branch Head from 2011 to 2012. Sukumar served as Branch Manager at Maharaja Whiteline Industries Private Limited from 2012 to 2013. Following that, they worked as a General Manager at K7 Computing Pvt. Ltd from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Sukumar holds the role of Regional Manager - South (Kitchen Appliances) at Bajaj Electricals Ltd, in addition to being the Regional Head - Trade Sales for the Consumer Products Division starting from April 2016.

Sukumar G. attended the Seventh Day Adventist Hr Sec School in Chinna Chokkikulam, Madurai from 1982 to 1992, where they completed their Higher Secondary Education in Maths and Science. From 1992 to 1995, they studied at SVN College in Madurai and earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics. Later, from 2008 to 2010, Sukumar attended the University of Madras, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing.
