Abhijit Kar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Abhijit is currently working at Bajaj Finserv Health as the Sr. Product Lead- Insurance Partnerships. Prior to this, they held the position of Lead Product Manager- Insurance Partnerships and Lead Product Manager- Portfolio Retention at the same company. Abhijit also worked as a Product Manager at Tata Digital for a short period. Before that, they had an extensive tenure at Bajaj Finserv Health, where they held roles such as Lead Product Manager and Senior Product Manager. Abhijit's earlier experiences include working as a Management Trainee at HDFC Life, a Summer Intern at Future Generali India Life Insurance, and involvement in various projects at Tata Motors and Jio. Abhijit started their career as an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services.

Abhijit Kar completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing and Operations from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar) between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Technical Education & Research from 2009 to 2013. Abhijit has also acquired various certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from KPMG and several courses from LinkedIn on topics such as Go-to-Market Planning, Design Thinking, Digital Transformation, Product Management, and Technology for Product Managers. Additionally, they obtained a Principal Officer certification from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India in 2020.
