Bobby Williamson

Bobby Williamson possesses extensive experience in the field of research and development, particularly focused on phenolic and resorcinolic wood adhesives. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist/Technology Manager at Bakelite Synthetics since May 2022, Bobby previously held a similar title at Georgia-Pacific LLC from April 1995 to May 2022, where key roles included Senior Research Scientist and R&D Group Leader across various teams focused on wood products and new innovations. Earlier career experience includes a position as an NIH Postdoctoral Research Associate at Emory University. Bobby holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Utah and a B.S./B.A. in Chemistry/Mathematics from Texas Lutheran University, complemented by an executive education experience at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
