Debora Costa

Debora Costa has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Debora most recently worked at Bakelite Synthetics as the Global Environment Health and Safety Vice President, starting in February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Manufacturing Director at Bakelite Synthetics from May 2021 to January 2023. Before joining Bakelite Synthetics, Debora worked at Hexion Inc. for 8 years, serving as the Site Leader from March 2013 to May 2021. Additionally, they held the position of Site Leader at Momentive from March 2013 to January 2016. Prior to these roles, they served as the Site Manager at Suominen Corporation from November 2011 to March 2013, and as the Plant Manager at Ahlstrom from September 2010 to November 2011. Before joining Ahlstrom, they worked at Dow Chemical as a Production Leader from October 2009 to July 2011. Debora has also worked at Rohm and Haas, holding the positions of Plant Manager from April 2005 to September 2009, and Production and Logistic Manager from May 2000 to April 2005. Debora began their career as a Process Engineer at Industrie De Nora from 1995 to 1998.

Debora Costa obtained a Laurea Specialistica in Chemical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where they studied from 1988 to 1995.
