Jon Berger

Jon Berger has a diverse work experience in the chemical industry. Jon is currently the Managing Director at Bakelite Synthetics and has been in this role since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the EU VP Manufacturing at the same company. Before joining Bakelite Synthetics, Jon worked at Hexion Inc. for a significant period. Jon served as the General Manager of a Russian Joint Venture and was a Member of the Board of Directors. Jon also held the positions of Site Leader/Plant Manager and Production Superintendent at Hexion Inc. Jon's earlier experience includes roles at Solutia Inc. as a Resin Production Supervisor, Process Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineer, and at Parallax, Inc. and Intech Inc. as a Chemical Engineer.

Jon Berger earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993. Jon later obtained a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University in 2001.
