Rik Wever

Rik Wever has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Rik is currently serving as the VP Legal & Compliance at Bakelite Synthetics since April 2023. Before that, they held the position of Global Director Legal & Compliance at the same company from May 2021 to April 2023. Prior to their time at Bakelite Synthetics, Rik worked as a Senior Legal Counsel EMEA at Hexion Inc. from August 2018 to May 2021. Rik also worked as a Legal Counsel EMEA at Hexion B.V. from November 2014 to July 2018. Rik started their career as a Lawyer - Advocaat at Ploum Lodder Princen from July 2011 to November 2014, and then at Bird & Bird from May 2007 to July 2011.
