Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson is an experienced transportation specialist currently working at Baker Commercial Landscaping since August 2022. Prior to this role, Michael served as a patrol officer at Allied Universal, holding both Florida D and G Security Licenses. Michael has a background in aviation as an inflight crewmember with JetBlue Airways from April 2017 to May 2021. A significant portion of Michael's career was spent with the Orange County Sheriff's Office from August 2001 to March 2017, where the role of master deputy sheriff was held, focusing on patrol and as a school resource officer. Earlier experience includes serving as a senior police officer with the City of Altamonte Springs, where responsibilities included patrol, traffic-related units, and community policing. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Northwest Missouri State University, earned from 1984 to 1989.
