Paul Skinner, EIT, has a diverse work experience in the electrical engineering field. Paul started their career at Exosent as a Lead Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, maintaining, and modifying CAD files and blueprints. Paul also had knowledge of ASME pressure vessel and DOT codes. After working at Exosent from 2013 to 2016, they joined Eaton in 2017 as a Field Service Engineer. In this role, they gained extensive hands-on experience with power distribution equipment, completed installations, troubleshooting, and testing. Paul also utilized guidelines and regulations such as IEEE, NFPA70E, and OSHA to ensure project compliance. In 2019, Paul was promoted to the role of Power Systems and Controls Engineer at Eaton, where they generated various studies and reports for customers. Paul managed budgets and timelines for their projects and provided feedback on OSHA and code requirements. Most recently, in 2023, Paul joined Baker Electric as a Service Operations Manager, overseeing operations in the service department.

Paul Skinner, EIT, holds a Master's of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution. In addition to their academic degrees, Paul has obtained several certifications, including MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) in March 2022, OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety and Health in February 2019, and Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Beginner (Estimated) in June 2016. Paul is also an Engineer-In-Training.
