Roger Stokes

Roger Stokes is a Principal Engineer at BakerRisk, part of the Process Safety Group since October 2015, specializing in incident investigation, insurance risk engineering, Process Safety Management (PSM), and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA). Prior to this role, Roger served as an Engineering Specialist at Lloyd Warwick International from October 2014 to October 2015, where responsibilities included investigating losses in the onshore energy sector and reporting for insurers. Roger's extensive experience includes nearly 23 years at Crawford & Company focusing on complex losses in process plants, as well as academia as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Manchester from 2008 to 2013, sharing incident analysis insights with Chemical Engineering students. Roger began a career in the chemical industry with ICI Chemicals & Polymers, progressing to Senior Plant Manager before obtaining a BSc in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
