Yin M. is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in structural and civil engineering. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at BakerRisk since 1999, Yin M. specializes in dynamic analysis, design, and retrofit of structures, facility siting for process plants, industrial accident investigation, research and testing, client relationship management, and overseeing large multi-discipline projects. Previously, Yin M. worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at The University of Texas at San Antonio from January 2018 to May 2020, and as a Structural Engineer at BSW International from 1994 to 1999, focusing on structural analysis, prototype design development, and project management. Early career experience includes a role as a Structural/Mechanical Engineer at Koch Industries, where expertise in process equipment analysis and design was developed. Yin M. holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology and a Doctorate of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Lamar University.
