Megan Holmes

Megan Holmes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Megan began their career as a Visiting Instructor of Mathematics at Centre College in 2012 and later became a Teaching Assistant in Mathematics at the University of Kentucky. During their time at the University of Kentucky, they also assisted with the Teaching Assistant Workshop. Megan then transitioned to the role of Lecturer at Indiana University Kokomo, where they taught various mathematics subjects and created and graded assignments and exams.

After their tenure at Indiana University Kokomo, Megan worked at Mathematical Sciences Publishers as a Bibliographer, where they reviewed references provided by authors and converted bibliographies into the preferred bibtex style. Megan then joined Orchard Software as a Technical Support Specialist I/II, where they developed product knowledge, established client relationships, and created detailed documentation for issue resolution. Megan also served as a Software Testing Analyst at Orchard Software, carrying out procedures to ensure software quality and documenting failures and verifications.

Following their time at Orchard Software, Megan joined Kerauno as an AR/Billing Specialist, where they prepared and maintained financial records using QuickBooks and monitored and managed A/R aging reports. Megan then moved on to Jobvite as a Billing Specialist, and their responsibilities included billing-related tasks.

Most recently, Megan is currently working as a Revenue Accountant at Baker Hill, where they are responsible for revenue accounting.

From 2002 to 2006, Megan Holmes attended Centre College and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Chemistry.

In 2006, they enrolled at the University of Kentucky and completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Mathematics by 2008.

Continuing their education at the University of Kentucky, Megan Holmes pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mathematics, which they successfully completed in 2013.
