Carlos Gaban

Carlos Gaban is a highly experienced engineering professional in the fields of subsea projects and services, with a career spanning over 25 years. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Baker Hughes since June 2023, Carlos previously held key positions at Dril-Quip from May 2008 to June 2023, where roles included Engineering Coordinator for Drilling and Senior Product Engineer. Carlos' expertise encompasses project coordination, product development adhering to industry standards, testing and assembly procedures, and technical support for maintenance contracts, particularly for major clients like Petrobras. Carlos started their career at ABB LTD, progressing from an Apprentice to working on technical equipment for oil and gas, and also contributed to GE Energy as a Product Engineer focused on strategic planning and project implementation. Carlos holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade São Judas Tadeu, completed in 2007.
