Jian Hu

Jian Hu is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Iraq Business Development Manager at Baker Hughes since June 2025. Prior to this role, Jian held various positions at Weatherford, including China Wireline Operations Manager from January 2013 to January 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing operations and managing client relationships. Jian's early career at Schlumberger from August 2004 to December 2012 included roles such as Field Quality Champion and Field Service Manager for Wireline, focusing on quality control, operational compliance, and team leadership. Jian holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Financial Investment and Management, Project Management from Sichuan University and a Master’s degree in Geophysics and Seismology from Daqing Petroleum Institute.
