Saverio Gradassi

Saverio Gradassi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management and quality assurance within the industrial and energy sectors. Currently serving as Global Director of HSE and Sustainability for Baker Hughes since March 2017, Saverio has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of HSE and Quality for both Industrial and Energy Technology and Turbomachinery & Process Solutions. Key achievements include leading initiatives to significantly reduce risks in hazardous operations, diminish the carbon footprint, and enhance overall safety culture, resulting in a 40% reduction in injuries over two years. Prior to Baker Hughes, Saverio was with GE Oil & Gas, overseeing quality assurance and continuous improvement for a large division, and held project management positions. Saverio's educational background includes a Master's degree in Health, Safety, and Risk Management from Robert Gordon University and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università di Pisa.
