Tim Donoughue

Tim Donoughue is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and corporate functions. Currently serving as Managing Executive Counsel at Baker Hughes since January 2019, Tim oversees legal functions related to IP mergers and acquisitions, cybersecurity, and corporate sourcing. Prior roles include managing transactional IP and digital technology, as well as leading competitive intelligence. With a foundation in patent law and a successful track record in high-profile corporate transactions, Tim has been instrumental in guiding IP due diligence for mergers such as Halliburton and GE. Tim holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Gustavus Adolphus College.
