Andre Gan

Andre Gan is a distinguished corporate M&A and securities lawyer currently serving as the Chair of the Asia Transactional Practices Group at Baker McKenzie since July 2022. Additionally, Andre is a member of the M&A Global Steering Committee and heads the M&A for Asian Offices. Andre's extensive experience includes a long tenure at Wong & Partners, where involvement as a corporate M&A partner has been noted since 2004, alongside a period as Managing Partner from 2016 to 2020. With a career beginning in 1997 at Baker McKenzie in Singapore, Andre has advised clients on various corporate transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings, while expertly navigating complex regulations and commercial risks. Andre holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Monash University, completing studies in 1994.
