Canby Cohen

Canby Cohen is a Senior Attorney at Baker & McKenzie since July 2004, specializing in advising multinational companies on global equity services, including international securities, data privacy, tax, labor, and exchange controls. Responsibilities include drafting employee communications and equity plan agreements, as well as coordinating the implementation of equity-based compensation programs in over 100 countries. Previously, Canby served as an Associate at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble & Mallory from October 2001 to July 2004, focusing on general commercial litigation, managing discovery phases, drafting briefs, and leading complex civil litigation cases. Additionally, Canby completed a Judicial Externship at the California Court of Appeals in early 2000, researching and drafting legal opinions on various topics. Canby holds a JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law (2001) and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley (1998).
