Erik Scheer

Erik Scheer is a seasoned tax advisor and attorney with extensive experience at Baker McKenzie, where they served as a partner from 1988 to 2018 and currently hold the position of Sr. Counsel. As a member of the Global Executive Committee, Erik specializes in VAT and Customs law, tax litigation, and negotiations in tax matters. Additionally, Erik has contributed to the global tax practice as Chair of the Global Tax Practice Group from 2012 to 2014 and held the role of Managing Partner from 2006 to 2008. They are also a member of the NOB since 1988 and earned a Master in Tax Law from Universiteit Leiden in 1988.
