Associate Director - Global Financial Institutions Client Lead at Baker McKenzie

Neil Bird has a strong background in marketing and business development. Neil started their career as a Marketing Executive at Stevens & Bolton before moving on to Grant Thornton International, where they held various roles, including Global Business Development Manager and Global Research/Business Development Manager. During their time at Grant Thornton, Neil was responsible for implementing the firm's first global approach to business development and client management and led the Grant Thornton International Business Report. Neil also played a key role in the successful re-launch of the Grant Thornton brand. Following their tenure at Grant Thornton, Neil worked as a Client Director at Brownfox Consultancy before joining Baker McKenzie, where they held positions such as Senior Client Manager/Digital Innovation Leader and Associate Director - Global Financial Institutions Client Lead. In these roles, Neil focused on managing key clients, leading digital innovation initiatives, and applying human-centered design thinking techniques to create better solutions for clients.

Neil Bird received a Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business studies from Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University in 2001.
