John Alexander

John Alexander has extensive experience in financial management and operations. John currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Baker Steel Capital Managers LLP, starting in August 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Tombill Mines Limited from December 2020 to July 2021. From 2010 to 2021, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Caledon Partners. Before that, they were the Head of Finance/Accounting Manager at Varde Partners Europe from 2008 to 2010. John also held the role of Financial Controller at Five Arrows Investment Management/Spencer House Capital Management from 2006 to 2008. John's earlier experiences include working as a Business Support Manager at Gartmore, European Finance Manager at Henderson Global Investors, and Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they started their career in 1997.

John Alexander attended Liverpool College from 1988 to 1993. John then went on to study at the University of Oxford from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a degree in Chemistry (M.Chem).
