Chris Wilkens

Since 1993, Chris has worked in the capital markets, working with both institutional and high-net-worth individuals. His institutional investment background provides a valuable perspective when assisting clients in the development and implementation of an investment portfolio and wealth management plan.

Prior to joining Baker Street as a partner in 2007, Chris co-founded and co-managed VERITY Wealth Advisors, where he worked with individuals and family groups. Before VERITY, Chris spent ten years as an institutional derivatives salesperson, specializing in currency and equity derivatives. Chris was a senior manager at Merrill Lynch for six years, with responsibility for the firm’s institutional equity-linked business in the Western U.S. Previously, Chris was an equity derivative specialist at Barclays de Zoete Wedd, Ltd and a currency derivative specialist at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York.

Chris graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in French, and was awarded a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001 from the CFA Institute.

Chris is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Urban School of San Francisco, and was previously a member of the endowment investment committee for the San Francisco Day School.
