Melissa Montgomery

Melissa is a managing partner of West Group Real Estate, a strategic partner of BakerAvenue. West Group is a leading San Francisco based real estate broker, investment and advisory firm. Melissa oversees West Group’s brokerage operations, investment analysis, and financial operations. She holds a California real estate license and has extensive expertise in real estate brokerage, multifamily and residential development as well as a comprehensive knowledge of San Francisco Bay Area laws, zoning, and land use regulations, as well as other California rent control jurisdictions.

Prior to joining West Group, Melissa worked in equity research at the investment bank, Thomas Weisel Partners, covering the Information and Financial Technology Services industry.

Melissa received her B.S.in Environmental Economics and Policy from U.C. Berkeley and her M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
