Lillian Tafoya

Lillian Tafoya brings twenty-three years of experience as a school trustee to the Bakersfield City School District Board of Directors. Her passion for student advocacy emanated from having served as a teacher, school administrator, and adjunct professor. She was also an education consultant for a variety of companies including ASCD in Alexandria, VA. In her profession she received multiple awards including State and National Principal of the Year awards and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from New Mexico Highlands University.
