Michael Flowers Sr.

Michael Flowers Sr., MBA, is a seasoned professional in systems engineering and cybersecurity with extensive experience in various roles spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Systems Engineer II and Cybersecurity Administrator at Bakersfield Family Medical Center, Michael has led significant initiatives such as the implementation of data-at-rest encryption and contributions to HITRUST certification. Previous roles include contributions to networking content for Network World, development of a cybersecurity program at Golden Empire Transit District, and management of SQL servers and Azure at the International Foundation for Election Systems. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, an MBA in Business and IT Management, and is pursuing a Master's of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.
