Alejandro Aguilar Canela has a diverse work experience in the field of art and design. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Editorial Designer for Endeavor Puebla. In 2012, they took on roles as an Illustrator for La Catarina Periódico Universitario and To Taste. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Designer, Illustrator, and Motion Artist at Basa Studio. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Digital Creative Sr at IA Interactive, and later became a Creative Director until 2018. In 2017, they joined Catorce Días as a Creative Director. From 2019 to 2021, they served as an Art Director at Only If, leading a team of designers and working with various clients. Most recently, in 2022, they worked as a Teacher Assistant at Maryland Institute College of Art before joining Bakery Agency as an Art Director in 2023.

From 2021 to 2023, Alejandro pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Illustration Practice at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

In 2016, Alejandro attended the Pictoplasma Academy MX, specializing in Character Design. However, no specific degree was obtained during this period.

In 2015, Alejandro completed a Curso de creatividad (Creativity Course) at the Digital Invaders School, earning a degree called "Generación X7".

From 2007 to 2012, Alejandro attended the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Visual Information Design. The degree focused on the field of Illustration.

In 2011, Alejandro participated in a Diploma program in Illustration at the Parsons School of Design - The New School.
