Fazal ur Rehman has diverse work experience in the field of geographic information systems (GIS) and weather expertise. Fazal ur began their career in 2020 as a Research Intern at the Pakistan Meteorological Department, where they gained valuable knowledge in the field. In 2021, Fazal worked as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at the Pakistan Meteorological Department Gilgit baltistan for a short period of time. After that, they joined BaKhabar Kissan (BKK) as a Weather expert, specializing in GIS. Fazal ur then transitioned to the position of GIS Executive at BKK and further progressed to become the GIS Quality Assurance Team Lead. In 2022, Fazal became a Remote Sensing Analyst, utilizing their skills in image interpretation and analysis.
Fazal ur Rehman completed their Bachelor's degree in geophysics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad between 2016 and 2020. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including a Certificate of Internship from the Pakistan Meteorological Department in January 2020, and certifications in remote sensing image acquisition and analysis, transforming Earth observation data, monitoring and modeling floods, and operation of early warning systems of glacier lake outburst flooding from various institutions including Coursera, NASA, and Glof II Pakistan.
